Peaky Blinders

Written by Steven Knight (Dirty Pretty Things, Eastern Promises, Locke), our epic gangster drama stars Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Finn Cole, Anya Taylor-Joy, Aidan Gillen, Sam Claflin and Tom Hardy. Set in the lawless streets of Birmingham, spanning the period from the end of World War One to the early 1930s, the fifth series aired on BBC1 and is available to view on BBC Iplayer (along with series 1 to 4) and on Netflix in the US and other major territories.

The critically acclaimed series has had more than 42 million views on Iplayer since June 2019. Series 4 won Best Drama at the 2018 BAFTA’s.

Series 6 of the critically-acclaimed series PEAKY BLINDERS filmed earlier in 2021 and is now in post-production. Alongside returning cast, newcomers to series 6 include Amber Anderson (Emma), James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom), Conrad Khan (Country Lines, EE rising star nominee 2021) and Stephen Graham (Time, Line of Duty).

Series 5 debuted August 2019 on BBC One in the UK and garnered record ratings for the epic gangster drama.  Added to the cast for Series 5 were Sam Claflin, Anya Taylor-Joy and Brian Gleeson who joined the esteemed returning ensemble led by Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle and Aidan Gillen.

Series 1 to 5 are currently available on BBC’s iplayer and on Netflix in more than 100 countries outside of the UK.
